- We do not take walk-ins, so your time in the chair is yours. Book online or call.
- Cancelling
- Please give us 24 hours. Late cancellations and missed shaves may be charged half the service price.
- Before a shave
- Come with two or three days of growth for the closest finish. Let us know about sensitive skin when you book.
- Payment
- Debit, credit, and tap. Gift cards available in the parlour.

Ashby and Vale is a two-chair parlour on Lakeshore Road. Every appointment has its own time, so nobody waits and nobody is rushed.
The hot towel shave is why most people first come in. The classic cut is why they come back.
Questions
How long does a hot towel shave take?
About 40 minutes. Book the cut and shave together and you are in the chair for an hour and a quarter.
Is a straight razor shave safe on sensitive skin?
Usually, yes. Tell us when you book and we will use a gentler pre-shave and go with the grain.
Do you cut kids' hair?
Yes, as part of the father and son appointment, or on its own for 12 and under at the classic cut price.
