Walk-ins, deposits, and ID
- Walk-ins
- First come, first served, until two hours before close. Call ahead if you are coming far and we will tell you who is free.
- Deposits
- Booked sessions need a deposit: $50 for flash, $100 for custom. It comes off the final price and moves once with 48 hours' notice.
- Age and ID
- You must be 18 or older with government photo ID. No exceptions, even with a parent.
- How we keep it clean
- Needles and cartridges are single use and opened in front of you. Surfaces are wrapped and wiped down between every client.

The shop
Lantern Street is a walk-in shop on a Hamilton side street. The wall is covered in flash we drew ourselves, and most of it can go on the same day.
For bigger or custom pieces, book a free consult. Bring photos of what you like and where you want it.
Before your tattoo
How should I get ready for my tattoo?
Eat a proper meal, sleep well the night before, and skip alcohol for 24 hours. Wear clothes that give easy access to the spot.
Can I change a flash design?
Small changes like colour or size are fine at flash price. Bigger changes are charged as custom work.
How do I look after it?
Keep it clean and lightly moisturized, and keep it out of pools, baths, and sun for two to three weeks. We give you written aftercare before you leave.
Do you do cover-ups?
Yes, as custom work. Book a consult and bring the tattoo so we can see what we are working with.
